It IS a drum-machine. And the recordings are DEMOS. The man asked what the band sounded like, not "How good was the recording?", or "Was it a drum-machine?"
Furthermore, if you don't like glam, what the HELL are you doing here? Don't tell him that it isn't any good if you are a flannel-wearing-wanna-be-grunge-moron.
I sound passionate about this because I AM the singer/guitarist of the band in question. We have 100's of songs, but the 3 that I posted are the demos with the best sound clarity. BUT, They are DEMOS, which means the aren't polished, or even really finished.
Slamming everything, and calling everything outside one's own narrow musical preferences is what put glam on the back-burner in the first place. Keep it up and it will die completely.

I said we have hundreds of songs, but only about 30 are recorded, and about half of those were recorded live by a camcorder, with a guitarist who is gone (sucked anyway) and a drummer who left to do covers (so he wasn't even as creative as the drum machine).
I only posted the songs, because you have to have something available for people to listen too or they ask for it. It clearly labled them Demo to prevent people from assuming that they were finished product. All they are is an idea of our songwriting.
And yeah Mother Love Bone was glam to the end. Unfortunately Andrew Woods died and Pearl Jam rose (or sank) from the ashes of a great band. Alice In Chains was also glam(in the beginning), but by the time they made it to market they were the crap I was referring to (them and nirvana - whom I won't even discuss). The point is I know the history of glam from Ziggy, & Mott The Hoople, all the way through to The Loving Dead. Heart Throb Mob, and Foxy Roxx. A lot of the hair-bands were crap, but many did contribute beautifully to glam.
I just discovered the board 3 or four days ago and intend on sticking around. I said my piece.
Wait...Jani Lane from Warrant never considered Warrant to be Glam, that was some record company shmucks idea (aren't execs the most brilliant musically literate people...not)

heheheh, what a bunch of slag over nothing at all, a semi-witty if sarcastic comment & off it all goes... it's just some quick & dirty pre-production demos to get the gist across... but at least the back & forth keeps me amused. Of course the drum machine will outlive us all
Oh yeah, I never said Warrant thought they were Glam. But it was the people and the companies that do. How many people did I always mention my bands being Glam to, and they always said "oh, like Warrant and Poison?", to which I just clinched my teeth and walked away.
I think we pretty much agree on all things. I would be interested in hearing more of your stuff, if for no other reason than giving a fair chance all around. I do believe you can get a decent idea of what a band is after even through shitty recordings. Just so damn frustrating as so much of Glam is flooded with poor quality sound.

So i started thinkin', What does she mean?
It cant be the vocals, hmmm - it cant be the guitar,
So my conclusion is - It must be the drummer that has potential.

You have to remember Jezebel guys...don't let someone's words get ya down, just enjoy what you do and move on...There is always gonna be someone who is gonna put down bands cuz of this and that.

Some Musicians think their music is the cats meow, when it's really nothing but the cats crap. Surely they would love the cats meow...but because they can only draw the flies to their crap, then it's put down every other musicians work because it's not theirs.
